A double-headed fire hydrant valve, also known as a twin-outlet hydrant valve, provides two separate water-discharge outlets from a single fire-hydrant riser or pipeline. It allows firefighters to connect and operate two fire hoses simultaneously, providing greater water coverage and improved firefighting capacity during an emergency. The valve is equipped with two individually operated handwheels, internal valve mechanisms and instantaneous-type hose couplings.
